Just something I was wondering: Why aren't books resold like CDs, tapes, and DVDs? Yeah, there are used bookstores, but unlike the entertainment stores, you're not going to walk into a bookstore and see used stickers on a bunch of (now cheaper) books that were bought from people who previously owned them to resell.
Maybe because people keep books to read and sometime re-read? Or paper is more easily damaged?
