Ever notice how people who speak English sometimes use words from another langauge? like ciao, and arriwah and all that... Do they ever use our words?

Like in Italy do they ever say,

"Devo essere disinserito ora, SEE YAS!!!!!!"

I don't know if they do, since I've never been in a country speaking another language.

How did English-speaking people ever get to use words from other languages here and there in our speech, anyway?

I know what you meant, but what I was asking is: how did they ever get to use "ciao" instead of just "bye" in the first place?
